The quantitiy of garden ponds grows from year to year, also the aquarians like such Biotop more and more. Small and big fishes have here optimal conditions the whole summer. All fish types, that are suit can live into the artificial water world of the garden pond.Here also can live Gymnogeophagus types in winter, like its own living space. First it was only an experience. In two years it becomes more and more important.I wrote many different reports about that and I think, that I can give good tips to aquarians and also to garden pond owners. In the past there were the living bearing types, that spent in the pond the whole summer and grew up to stately size. But there are a lot of colorful perch types, that don`t live in permanently warm zones.They can live in the pond in winter and here they have optimal conditions. In notice of this way of life, the fishes - I speak about Gymnogeophagus types - it`s full beauty and become robust against illnesses. That influences itself not only the service life. People, who aren`t interested at an aquarium, perhaps like a garden pond. It`s a piece of nature with all plants and living and after some time.......all is regulated.

The calming effect is unsurpassable. It must not be a big pond, a little one express the same - you see it on the picture - unites an entire Biotop in itself. This little dream "Marlene" fulfilled herself. She lives in the north of Germany and says, that she needs the pond for her balance.
